Contact Psychways (the Talentlift blog)

Our blog is constantly growing, but the science and practice of psychology in the "workplace" is becoming much more complicated.

We'd love to take your questions.

All questions will be responded to with a reply within a week (or less).

Some of our best blog content has come from reader insights, questions, and disagreements. We aim to be "open source" and responsive.

Contact Psychways. I'd love to hear from you.

Fields marked with * are required

We'd like to know your name so that we can respond more personally, but it isn't required.
This is necessary for us to respond. See our privacy policy to learn that we do not share this information.
By requiring a subject, we make it more difficult for "non-people" to fill up our mailbox. (Or, would you rather identify busses?)
A little information would help to focus our response, but it isn't necessary.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We use contact forms for the purpose of customer service and to facilitate direct, private communication with individuals who wish to share a comment. Email addresses and a subject text field are required to make a submission. These allow us to communicate with you directly and privately (email address) and to mitigate invalid entries (subject). Name and Message inputs are requested, but not required. These are included to permit a more personal (name), and relevant (message) response from Psychways.

How long we retain your data

Information submitted via the contact form is not used for marketing purposes and is retained no longer than 6 (six) months from submission. If, by the will of the submitter, correspondence continues beyond this 6-month default retention period, it is maintained for 6-months from the date of last correspondence. All requests for the deletion of data that come from the submitter will be affected immediately.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

Analytics data are collected but include no personally identifiable data. These data are used exclusively to inform website design, use and improve content.
